WCWFC End of Season Awards 2024/2025
It was a night full of celebration on Friday night after a magnificent season both on and off the pitch for Worcester City Women.
The night wasn’t just about celebrating the results on the pitch or winning awards; it was about celebrating the people and the progress throughout the club in the past twelve months.
Everyone, from board members to coaches, players, volunteers, sponsors, and, of course, our amazing fan base, has played a part in helping the club grow throughout the 2024/2025 season.
Meanwhile, back on the pitch, it was a season of success for the First Team, the Reserves, and the U18S.
The First Team secured fourth-tier status for the first time in their history after a historic first season in the FA Women’s National League.
The Reserves had a fantastic season after finishing in third place in the West Midlands Regional League Division One. They also went on a strong cup run and made the final of the Worcestershire FA County Cup.
The Under-18s had a great season, also finishing in third place in the Central Warwickshire Girls Football League Division One, with only a few points separating the top three.
A couple of weeks ago, at Wembley Stadium, Annie Highway deservedly picked up the FA Women's National League Division One Midlands Player of the Year, which is an outstanding achievement for the midfielder.
